Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. Since the late 80s she has been working in television and film. The actress has won several awards, among them 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt, who was born at New York New York, is a well-known actress. At the age of Bassett was about five She and her sister relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to stay with their mother who was separated from their father. Bassett was at the age of high school when she watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and realized that her desire of being an actor had come true. In the year 1980, Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
